What can you tell me about the $9 CTP?
 
Also, I would have to agree with Miles about the extra $ for day-of-registration.  There is already an incentive to pre-register (shirt), and then 20% of the registration fee additional would not make me happy.  I understand how nice it is from a TD perspective to have everything ready to go beforehand. I also have also played in well over 20 tourneys in the last couple years in 5 different states, and never have had an additional fee added for day-of-registration...seems like it is an uneccessary double hit.  I can understand not getting a players pack for not pre-registering, but if I found out last minute that I could attend a tourney, I probably wouldn't go if I knew I had to pay extra.  $5 may not seem like much, but it is 20% of the regular fee for MA2 and could make or break a decision for many, especially for a tournament in its 2nd year trying to make a name for itself. It may give the tourney a bad rap, or maybe not.  Just one way to look at it.  Many people on the line of going or not going to a tournament base their decision on having enough funds the way it is already.  I appreciate and am thankful for all the TD's work for tournaments as I know there is a lot involved.
