Sanctioning is pending. The PDGA will vote March 1st on weather to sanction the tournament or not through the Competition Endowment Program. It's nice to
have the exposure on the PDGA website.

I just received an email from Karolyn Garlock of the PDGA. The Burwell, Ord & Loup City Iron Man has been approved for the Competition Endowment Program
(as a Developmental Event). This means that we will be granted up to $350 towards player fees ($2 player and $10 non-member fees). The tournament will be
sanctioned as a PDGA C-tier event. This is perfect for this tournament as it will allow local players to experience a sanctioned event without the expense.

This will be the 4th team our church has sent down and my second trip. |

Hello everyone. I am thinking of taking my son and heading out to this tournament, but am very confused as to how this plays out. Can someone just give me a
ball park layout of what happens here? Three courses, and from what I can tell on my map, not overly close. Are are all three played in the same day I hope?
and do you play 9, then drive, ect... How long between rounds and is this like a 6a to dark tourney? Any help I can get would be great. Thanks and hope to see
everyone out there in May.

Registration:
8:30 - 9:30
Player's Meeting: 9:30 - 9:45
1st Round of 18 starts at 10:00 at the Riverside 9 in Burwell 12:00 to 12:45 (approximately) eat lunch and drive to Ord 2nd Round of 18 starts at 1:00 at Bussell Park in Ord 3:15 to 3:45 (approximately) drive to Loup City 3rd Round of 18 starts at 4:00 at Jenner's Park in Loup City PDGA C-Tier Sanctioned Event (Competition Endowment Program)

Need not be a PDGA member to participate.

Last year was the first time for this tournament. We had 26 players show up and we had no idea if we could stay on schedule or not. As it turned out we stayed
about an hour ahead of schedule all the way and finished up at the Loup City course around 5:00 pm. The tournament is held in a very rural and picturesque part
of Nebraska and there are good camping spots in both Burwell and Loup City. This year the tournament will be sanctioned so we are expecting more players.

Kearney to Burwell is about 90 miles (about an 1 1/2 hours). Burwell to Ord is 17 miles. Ord to Loup City is 27 miles. Loup City to Kearney is 46 miles.
On May 17 the sun will rise around 6:13 am and set around 8:47 pm.

Ace Fund
We will be offering the optional $3 ace fund again this year($1 for each course). If an ace is hit in Burwell, then the $1 x the number of players in the ace fund goes to the player that hit the ace. If no ace is hit in Burwell, that money carries over to Ord. If someone then hits an ace in Ord, they win the cash from Burwell and Ord. If no ace in Ord, the entire $3 carries over to Loup City. If no ace in Loup City or any other course, we will have a throw off.

In order to stay close to schedule, we will be limiting the field for this tournament to around 36 to 40 players. All three of these courses are 9 hole courses and we would like to hold the cards to 4 players each. If you would like to have your name added to the pre-register list please send an email to spstumper@msn.com or call me at 308-850-5436. We will have a pre-register list of up to 36 players. If the pre-register list fills up, we will have a waiting list. If anyone on the pre-register list cancels, we will add the first player on the waiting list. We also want to save a few spots for players from the area who may not follow the posts on NebDisc.
